We provide counseling for residents and families to assist in their adjustment to nursing home life. They are also an excellent source for information regarding community resources and support groups.
Registered Dietitian Services
Nutrition counseling and meal planning is provided by professional staff to meet our residents dietary needs without forgetting to tickle their taste buds. Each resident is assessed for nutritional needs and is monitored by our Registered Dietitian.
Our facility offers temporary 24-hour care, giving both the caregiver and the loved one a break from the daily routine. For a few days to a few weeks, you can know that your loved one is cared for in a safe, comfortable environment surrounded by people who offer personal care and companionship.
To hasten recovery we offer short-term care for patients recovering from surgery when they are no longer in need of hospital care but are unable to care for themselves. Our short term Rehab-to-Home program has proven successful in providing therapy services and returning our residents home as quickly as possible.
Wound Care and Management
Our staff is fully trained to appropriately assess, monitor and treat surgical, vascular, pressure and other wounds. Staff is also trained in the prevention of pressure wounds. We provide wound care physician services inside the facility and have a full-time wound care nurse on staff. Negative pressure wound healing devices are also accessible.
Restorative Nursing Care
Our Restorative Nursing Program consists of a Registered Nurse and specially-trained C.N.A.’s to help preserve and promote the resident’s optimum level of functioning and independence.
Our facility provides a full range of therapeutic care and management of chronic heart and lung disease.
Our staff keep current with a variety of proven techniques and treatments to ease the suffering and improve the quality of life for those living with pain.
Recovery from a heart attack or heart surgery is more successful when the patient is able to follow a medically supervised program. This treatment requires a long-term commitment from the patient and their team of health care providers. Our facility is committed to the excellence in cardiac rehabilitation outcomes.
Diabetic Management and Care
Disease management requires alleviating the symptoms and maintaining the resident’s quality of life while identifying and addressing the underlying causes of diabetes.
Stroke Care and Rehabilitation
Our therapists are committed to assisting stroke patients relearn skills that have been lost when part of the brain has been damaged. These skills include motor, cognitive and speech functions. We can also provide for in-house swallowing studies and treatment of swallowing disorders.
Hospice and Palliative Care Services
The goal of end of life care is to help people who are dying have peace, comfort, and dignity. Our specially certified staff is trained to provide medical, psychological, and spiritual support to you and your loved one. We also offer the services of a specialized Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner in conjunction with our attending physicians. Our nurses have also been trained in palliative care nursing services.
Registered Pharmacist Medication Assessment and Monitoring
Registered pharmacists routinely review resident’s medications, clinical conditions, and diagnoses to ensure that the resident’s medications are appropriate.
Dental, vision, podiatry and psychiatric services also available.
